Welcome. Another week and it’s been a scorcher here in England. Of course some of you would experience the heat here and think that’s so chilly I need a coat. But especially in the city it’s been shorts and T shirts weather…except for when it’s been rainy.
So much of our difficulties can be entangled with our sense of self worth — from whether we take care of ourselves with good habits to how we are in relationships to how much confidence we have at work.
For people who love discovering new sounds, there’s an intriguing new site that collects soundscapes from around the world. The site, Earth.fm, bills itself as “Like Spotify, but for natural soundscapes.” You can listen to bird species in Malaysia or India or forest sounds in Ghana.
As I emerged from the dense, dark and damp jungle and into the heat of the Savannah, I felt the warmth of the sun on my skin, something I hadn’t experienced for weeks. In that moment, I knew we’d completed the Amazon Uncharted expedition. The one that so many thought to be impossible.
